DSE 英文 intro 寫法 的關鍵，不是寫得長，而是第一段就清楚交代背景、立場和文章方向。很多考生失分，正正因為開頭太空泛、直接抄題目，或者只改寫題目卻沒有 Thesis Statement。
Intro 要做什麼
一個高分的 HKDSE English Writing introduction 通常有三個部分：Hook + Context + Thesis。Hook 是吸引讀者的開場，Context 是交代題目背景，Thesis Statement 則是清楚表明立場或文章主旨。
對 DSE 而言，首段最重要的是 task response clarity，尤其是 argumentative 和 hybrid 題型，考官一眼就要看見你站在哪一邊。若開頭只係重複題目內容、又未有清晰立場，通常只會令文章停留在較低層次。
三步結構
1. Hook
Hook 可以用問題句、背景事實、情境描述，甚至一個具啟發性的觀點。這一步的作用不是炫技，而是快速把讀者帶入題目。
2. Context
Context 要簡潔交代主題，讓文章看起來「有前因後果」。例如談 school uniforms、social media、part-time jobs 之類的題目，就先用一句話點出社會現象或學生處境。
3. Thesis
Thesis Statement 是最核心的一句，必須明確、直接、可支持整篇文章。你可以同時寫出你的立場和後文會講的重點，這樣整篇文會更像一篇成熟的 DSE essay，而不是一堆散亂想法。

這些句型的優點是穩陣、清楚，對應 DSE 評分時最重要的內容與組織要求。考場上不用追求太華麗，先確保句子自然、準確、可控。
不同題型寫法
Argumentative essay
議論文的開頭一定要盡快表態，最好在首段最後一句完成 Thesis Statement。常見做法是先講背景，再寫 I strongly believe that… 或 I do not agree that…，然後點出兩至三個主因。
Letter to the editor
這類題目開頭要保持正式和清楚，先交代你寫信的目的，再迅速切入立場。不要寫得像朋友閒聊，也不要一開始就長篇大論，因為正式書信最重視目的感和文體意識。
Article
Article 的 intro 可以稍微更吸引，但仍然要回到主題明確。你可以用問題句、現象句或一個簡短觀察作為 Hook，然後在第二句自然帶出文章主旨。

常見失分位
最常見的錯誤有三個。第一是直接抄題，這會令 intro 看起來很「機械」，考官通常不會給高印象分。第二是只寫背景不表態，結果整篇文章方向不明。第三是句子太長、太花，反而令語意不清。
2026 的安全策略仍然是：先清晰，再高級。你可以先用一個普通但準確的開頭，確保有 Context + Thesis，之後再慢慢累積語言變化，因為首段最怕的是失控而不是不夠華麗。
考場實戰做法
